Introducing Ethiopian Guji

Introducing Ethiopian Guji

August is the perfect month to indulge in something a little summery tasting, and fresh from the sun-soaked fields of Ethiopia.

A gorgeous and richly flavoured coffee, Guji is full of surprises for the coffee connoisseur and its full, creamy body means the intriguing and exquisite taste lingers on the palate.

Grown in the Oromia region of Ethiopia – famed for its coffee production – Guji is a light to medium roast coffee packed full of exceptionally intense flavours. The heady blend of honey and marzipan is fused with rich, aromatic apricots and passionfruit to create a highly unusual and seriously addictive flavour which sings of summer sunshine.

Cultivated at an altitude of 1,900 m, Guji is a highly prized coffee from the Typica and Heirloom variety of bean. Naturally processed to optimise the flavour, the pleasant, mild acidity makes this an ideal long and slow drink, perfectly refreshing on those warm summer days in the office. Whether you’re drinking it from your desk or sipping it gently at the patio table on a lazy Sunday morning, Guji is a luxurious, full-bodied coffee which will really hit the spot for any coffee lover.

Ethiopia is famous for its high-quality coffee exports, and the sun-kissed Oromia region in the centre of the country produces more than half of Ethiopia’s coffee crop, with the farmers in this region still hand-picking the beans at harvest time. The Guji we offer is ethically sourced and grown in an ecologically friendly way, so it’s a no-guilt indulgence guaranteed to satisfy.
