Head Bean, Richard, is founder and Managing Director of the Office Coffee Company. He is incredibly proud to have built a business with a solid reputation for delivering good value, high quality, ethically sourced products, bringing the unique experience of great-tasting coffee to offices across the UK.
Richard is always keen to get out and help customers, talk about coffee and support great CSR initiatives. “Transparency, commitment to quality, outstanding customer service and going the extra mile” are he says, the key to business success.
One of the founders of the Office Coffee Company, Jim has spent many years working in the coffee industry. His experience includes 20 years as Managing Director of the beverage and refreshment division of Aramark, and three years as Chairman and Executive Director of the Beverage Standards Association. Whilst at the Beverage Standards Association, he developed the first ever nationally accredited Barista skills qualification with City & Guilds.
Jim trains and mentors our team on all aspects of our coffee service. He has a passion for the industry, and can’t list one thing he likes best about his job – he loves it all!
Natalie is the Quality Manager for the Office Coffee Company and is responsible for delivering our excellent customer service. Natalie manages the service team making sure they respond to any technical issues and call outs in double quick time. She also keeps busy ensuring we have plenty of coffee and never run out!
For those that have met Natalie know she has a great eye for detail and is a bit of a process queen which is a real asset to our customers who rely on us to get the job done.
Sophie is our Customer Manager and first contact for customers who want to place an order, have any finance enquiries or want to discuss any details of their account.
Since joining the team Sophie has found there is rarely a dull moment in the office, she is always on hand happily helping customers on the phone and helping prepare orders in the warehouse.
Matt is the the first port of call for new business enquiries. He loves understanding how the Office Coffee Company can support businesses achieve their coffee ambitions by providing the right coffee and machine package.
Even despite not being with us for long, Matt is dusting up on his coffee knowledge fast. We keep reminding him he’ll never stop learning here!
As the company’s Assistant Accountant, Jenny is the first port of call for all things finance. Jenny joined the team in November 2012, and her responsibilities include processing payments, helping with customer and supplier calls, and carrying out regular stocktakes.
Despite the myth that accountants are dull and boring, Jenny thinks quite the opposite. She loves her job and helping customers.
Working in customer support, Beccy is always on hand to help customers with placing orders and any queries they may have. With an eye for detail and a passion for spreadsheets and processes Beccy is a bit of an ‘admin nerd’, making sure everything runs smoothly both in the office and for our customers.
As a new member of the team Beccy is keen to learn and get stuck in to ensure the best possible experience for our customers.
We poached Fran from a local independent coffee shop where she worked as a barista. Fran enjoys talking with customers and really understanding when helping with enquiries and orders.
Always one for a challenge, Fran has work cut out learning about our customers, what they like and extensive range of coffee and tea.
Whilst she spends most of the morning napping, for anyone visiting the Office Coffee Company Millie is the greeting face and friendly wag of the tail.
Millie enjoys regular walks and her lunchtime exercise to the park; only a few minutes walk from the office. Those who have met her know she is a keen sports lady with any ball you throw with her.
Those who have met Peter know he never stays in one place for long! Peter carries out machine demonstrations, new customer installations, technical training and helps deliver an exceptional customer experience – ensuring that everyone enjoys a great cup of coffee.
Every client has different needs and it’s this diversity that Peter enjoys most about his job. He loves his coffee, meeting new people, and the challenge of perfecting coffee solutions for each customer.
Chris’ role is all about looking after clients, whether it’s routine visits through the year to descale, clean and change filters or jumping into action if there is problem. Keen to please and solve issues first time round, Chris enjoys the role and confesses there is never a dull day.
Chris is also on hand to provide first-level technical support for customers who have queries with their coffee machine. His helpful straightforward advice means problems can normally be resolved quickly over the phone.
Jimmy strengthens the service we provide in London by providing routine visits to existing customers, and fixing any issues in double-quick time.
A coffee lover with a passion for helping people, Jimmy loves his role and each new challenge the day brings him.
Andy is often described as cool, calm and collected which is a credit to his work with coffee and equipment.
Andy gets enjoyment from ensuring each quality visit results in a consistently great cup of coffee.
Terry is always on hand to make sure our customers receive an exceptional level of service. Terry provides preventative maintenance visits where he checks the quality of drinks and cleans coffee machines. He also jumps into action attending any urgent requests for service.
Those who know Terry will know he enjoys a chat, over a coffee, of course.
Marcin has great attention to detail and always has a passion in making sure the coffee from the machines he services is incredible.
Marcin is a keen photographer in his spare time. We think he should capture more photos of the smiles he brings to our customers offices following a quality visit.
Ellis has many years of experience of espresso and coffee equipment. Ellis provides preventative and reactive maintenance visits to his customers, always ensuring they are happy with their coffee before he leaves.
Tom recently returned to the UK from Australia. New to the coffee industry Tom technical and engineering skills will soon start to shine as we works on his appreciation for the perfect espresso.
Tom’s focus will be looking after customers in the home counties and M4 corridor providing all aspects of on-site support.
James started as an apprentice working in the warehouse therefore receiving a great foundation into Office Coffee. James loves being hands on with coffee machines and is developing his knowledge of coffee and how to make the perfect espresso.
James assists Chris in our busy workshop getting new coffee machines ready to go out to new customers. He always has a smile on his face and can-do attitude.
